if you are a child of the 70's like me you most likely grew up with the creamy, sweet deliciousness of an 'orange julius' from 'dairy queen'.  with that taste in mind I have recreated a healthy dairy-free green version.....and it's ohhh soooo good!

* 4 cups fresh spinach leaves

* juice of 4 oranges OR 3 whole seedless oranges (I used organic cara cara)

If you have a stash of fresh frozen peaches from this summer's harvest (or even if you don't), try this fresh, healthy, dairy-free twist of a sweet, creamy favorite!

* 3 cups spinach

* 2 ripe bananas

* 1 cup fresh or frozen peaches

* 2 dates (pitted)

* 2 cups almond mylk (fresh is best)

* 1 cup water OR coconut water (for extra sweetness)

* 1/4 tsp cinnamon. nutmeg and vanilla bean powder

*4 cups coconut water infused almond mylk or regular almond mylk (see video)

*2 cups fresh dark red cherries or frozen cherries (remove pits) ADD MORE CHERRIES FOR the

   'VERY cherry love bomb'
