This lemon parsley tahini dressing is oh so yummy!  It has quickly become my absolute favorite for dressing up a massaged kale salad.  It's also great on a bowl of roasted veggies over quinoa or as a dip for a big bowl of raw veggies.

* 1 bunch rinsed parsley

* zest and juice of 1 lemon

* 2 cloves peeled garlic

* 3 Tbs. raw tahini

* 1/4 tsp. sea salt

* 1/3 cup water

* use all organic ingredients when possible... you are worth it!...

why I choose to detox with live food?

I did my first detox at the age of 30…12 years ago… it was 21 days that included fresh juices and herbs for cleansing and clearing. I committed myself to this and was able to move though the 21 days, eliminating, purging, letting go of weight, waste, physical and mental toxins. The cleanse was quite intense and at times felt like my insides were being scrubbed with a power washer and having a bat...

Turmeric continues to excite my tastebuds and heal my body, especially adding fresh turmeric  to juices and smoothies.  I have not only been using it to season kale chowders and black rice but have also been playing around with adding it to fresh juices and smoothies. I decided to dive into the healing power of turmeric with 3 of my favorite deliciously satisfying, hydrating recipes.

Turmeric is an ancient root native to Indon...

Hawaiian island, Maui inspired the evolution of my natural skin care regimen and the creation of many yummy skin care products…10+ years ago I discovered the most delicious “spa” … for lack of a better word created by Dae Williams of Sensuous Beauty. It was not like any place I had ever experienced. It was a small, beautiful, open space, resting just off the beach in Paia, Maui. It featured natural skincare products and a ‘facial bar...
